Descriptions and photos of plants offered in our online catalogue relate to the eventual size and flowering potential of each variety. The plants will not arrive at this stage of growth. This is the case for bare-root plants in particular, which will be dormant on receipt.
Orders will be dealt with as soon as possible on receipt and we will keep customers informed about availability, order processing and despatch.
We despatch orders as soon as possible on receipt. Please allow 30 days from placing an order to despatch, particularly at peak times. However we do our best to send out orders within 10 days of receipt.
Most orders will be sent by Royal Mail 48hour ParcelForce, a service which does require a signature. Unless you notify us otherwise, your order will require a signature to confirm safe delivery.
Orders to the value of £50, pay £12.50 for postage
Orders above £50 to £100, pay £17.50 for postage
Orders above £100 to £150, pay £22.50 for postage
Orders above £150 – please contact us for costs
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel your order. We will do our best to stop your order being processed, but obviously if it has been despatched it is (literally) out of our hands.
Please let us know immediately if you have a complaint about any aspect of your order, including delivery. Contact us by phone, email or in writing, with photographs if possible. Keep all packaging. We cannot be held responsible for failure of plants after despatch, as weather and soil conditions are beyond our control. We offer as much advice as we possibly can about growing our plants on after receipt, and how best to establish them.
We hope you are 100% satisfied with your order. However, if you aren’t, please contact us immediately. Take photos! Plants are perishable goods so if you wish to return any part of your order, check with us straightaway. If plant health has deteriorated when we receive your returns, we would have to adjust any refunds accordingly. Secure packaging and all postage costs will be your responsibility and we recommend using a ‘signed for’ service as your proof of postage.
Our plants are top quality and checked prior to despatch. Please get in touch immediately if you are concerned about any aspect of your order. We offer advice on planting and aftercare of your plants; we are unable to accept responsibility for failure of plants once planted – weather and soil conditions are beyond our control.
